Being mindful means being aware of what you’re feeling and thinking, allowing it all to be just as it is, then watching it shift and change and move and tweak, knowing that everything, including your current feelings and thoughts and moods, is shifting and changing and moving and tweaking all the time.
Being aware of your interior life, your mind and heart, and watching it ebb and flow is like watching the waves, and allowing it to unfold as you watch is like riding the waves. It is easier to ride the waves of thought and feeling than to resist them.
